Vincent graduated from the University of Western Australia with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He started his career as an inorganic engineer, specializing in inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), high-definition X-ray fluorescence (HDXRF), atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy. In 2015, Vincent joined Olympus to develop the regional business. He is also responsible for regional application support, including distributor training and solving and developing new applications.
