Optimisé pour l’inspection des soudures circonférentielles
Le scanner HSMT-Flex™ facilite l’inspection codée sur un axe des soudures circonférentielles sur les tuyaux. Il est équipé de quatre de nos supports de sonde de nouvelle génération et peut accueillir un total de huit sondes avec l’utilisation de quatre autres supports de sonde offerts en option.
Les utilisateurs gagnent du temps lors de la permutation et du réglage des sondes et des sabots grâce au design simplifié des supports de sonde, lesquels comportent des mécanismes utilisables sans outil et un système de blocage vertical. Pour obtenir une efficacité et des capacités de détection optimales, il est possible d’utiliser des sondes PA et UT.
Design flexible et stable
Le scanner offre une grande stabilité tout en offrant des options de configuration flexibles :
- Le cadre articulé lui permet de s’adapter à des tuyaux d’un diamètre extérieur aussi petit que 4,5 po (114,3 mm).
- Le bras à ressort applique une pression radiale optimale pour améliorer la stabilité du sabot et ainsi offrir une acquisition de données continue et fiable.
- Les roues magnétiques recouvertes de plastique souple tiennent fermement sur les surfaces ferromagnétiques et assurent un roulement en douceur qui réduit au minimum les efforts que doit déployer l’opérateur.
- Le cadre latéral coulissant permet de monter des sondes sur le côté du scanner pour l’inspection des endroits difficiles d’accès comme les soudures sur des tuyaux soudés à des composants.

Les supports de sonde de nouvelle génération permettent une manipulation aisée des sondes et des sabots, un positionnement stable des sondes et un couplage constant :

- Système de blocage vertical facilitant la manipulation et la permutation des sondes et des sabots

Acquisition de données PAUT fiable
Prenant en charge jusqu’à quatre sondes UT ou PA, ou huit sondes avec des supports de sonde supplémentaires en option, le scanner HSMT-Flex permet une acquisition de données fiable sur les soudures circonférentielles :
- Cadre articulé optimisant le contact entre les sondes et le tuyau inspecté
- Quatre roues magnétiques recouvertes de plastique maintenant fermement le scanner sur les tuyaux ferromagnétiques
- Supports de sonde à ressort positionnés indépendamment et assurant une pression optimale
- Guide laser à batteries en option
- Codeur à ressorts étanche offrant une résolution de 12 pas/mm
- Œillet pour attacher le cordon ombilical afin de le tenir hors de la trajectoire de balayage
- Règles en unités métriques ou impériales facilitant la mesure de la distance de séparation entre les sondes
