These adapters allow you to connect industrial fiberscopes or rigid borescopes to selected Olympus digital SLR cameras or mirrorless ones*1. This makes it easy to transfer images to a computer and for creating archives of inspection histories.
*1: The optional OM adapter MF-1 or MF-2 is required to connect the OM adapters listed below to the digital SLR cameras or mirrorless ones.

By connecting a CCD camera to fiberscopes or Boresopes, the images will be displayed on a video monitor and recorded for further analysis and archiving. This also allows for group viewing of inspection images, saving time, user fatigue and improving the decision making process.

Ultra-thin borescopes, as small as 0.9mm diameter utilizing coherent fibers for image transmission which keeps the insertion tube to be flexible minimizing the risk of breakage.
|For applications where access to the area of interest is only possible through an aperture less than 4mm (0.16"), the Olympus range of small diameter borescopes offers a wide choice of specifications. These instruments are ideal for many applications, including the inspection of electronic components, fine castings, fuel injectors and hydraulic systems.|
Small Diameter Borescope X-series utilize a high resolution fiber conduit image transmission system which provides excellent image quality and a more robust, semi-flexible insertion tube. This also allows smaller diameter models to be produced, including the new 0.9mm (0.04") version which offers distinct advantages in some applications.
Illumination is provided via an interchangeable light guide cable (Liquid or Fiber), connected to any of the wide range of Olympus light sources. Alternatively, the ILK-M1 battery operated compact, hand-held light source can be used, resulting in a truly portable inspection solution.
The bright images on a TV monitor are effective for inspections in production lines.
