By connecting a CCD camera to fiberscopes or Boresopes, the images will be displayed on a video monitor and recorded for further analysis and archiving. This also allows for group viewing of inspection images, saving time, user fatigue and improving the decision making process.

Small diameter fiberscopes can inspect narrow areas or where access is limited and are available in 0.64 mm, 2.4 mm or 4.1 mm. Each model has an ocular focus to ensure that the individual operator's eyesight is accomodated and can be attached to CCTV and photographic equipment for image recording.
The thinnest diameter flexible fiberscope (down to φ0.64mm). You can inspect inside narrow-diameter hole with 1mm or more diameter.
In some applications, the entry port size to the area of interest can be restricted and inserting a scope can be extremely difficult. This will often necessitate using an instrument of smaller diameter than conventional models.
These instruments have ocular focus to ensure that the individual operator's eyesight is accommodated and can be attached to CCTV and photographic equipment to allow the images to be permanently recorded. To illuminate the inspection area, any one of the Olympus light sources can be used.
Extensive scope lineup of 0.64mm, 2.4mm and 4.1mm (0.02, 0.09 and 0.16") diameter at lengths of up to 1.5m (4.9').
Original Olympus high-performance optics technology, such as high-density glass fiber bundles, offers the world's highest level of fiberscopic resolution and bright, sharp images.
Most of our fiberscopes employ the patented TF (Tapered Flex) Tube. Ideal for insertion into multiple-bend pipes, the insertion tube flexibility changes continuously-being highly flexible at the tip and rigid at the control section. As a result, these fiberscopes can easily be passed through bends and elbows. At the same time, the gradually increase rigidity of tube as it approaches control section assures easier transmission of publishing/ twisting strength after the first bend. All
scopes featuring the TF Tube are marked with the logo shown below.

These fiberscopes employ two-way angulation. (Except IF6PD4).
Fully waterproof insertion section for underwater use. (Most models) Drip-proof control section.
Video recording and photography are available by connecting a CCD camera or the Olympus digital camera.
There are depth marks at every 25cm (10") on the insertion tube from the distal end to identify the insertion depth.
