Los palpadores para la inspección de soldaduras tienen poco espesor y cuentan con un cable de salida en la parte delantera para que no interfiera con el soporte del palpador del escáner. Están adaptados para realizar inspecciones manuales y automatizadas de soldaduras gruesas. Además, permiten inspeccionar las grietas y defectos de soldadura en piezas de fundición y forjadas, tuberías, tubos y componentes estructurales maquinados.

These probes come standard with an OmniScan® connector and a 2.5 m (8.2 ft) cable or can be specially fitted with other connectors and cable lengths. When ordered as part of the PipeWIZARD systems, these probes require CE Hypertronics™ connectors and a 0.6 m (2 ft) cable.
