Microstructured Surface for Controlled Wettability

Microstructured Surface for Controlled Wettability

This webinar is focused on the research and development of design and manufacturing of functional surfaces and materials with small 3D structures in the nanoscale and microscale range. Species from the biological world have many amazing functional surfaces with fine structures which we are trying to mimic for the development of better practical products. Such surface structures are utilized to enhance device performance by controlling the wettability of the surfaces in the products concern. Key features of functional surfaces with 3D structures include super water/oil repellency or draining, anti-icing, and anti-fouling. In this webinar, you will learn:

  • Microstructured Surface for Controlled Wettability
  • How to develop the Design & Manufacturing of functional Surface
  • Key features of functional surfaces with 3D structures which include super water/oil repellency or draining, etc.
  • Next generation of applications in which the functional surfaces are embedded
