Longer Reach Better Vision - Introducing the NEW longer length IPLEX FX scope units (17-Apr-08)
The applicability of the latest IPLEX FX videoscope system is now further extended with the introduction of a new range of longer length scope units.
Adding to the existing 2.0m and 3.5m length insertion tubes, a selection of five new 6.0mm diameter models are now available to suit a wide range of inspections typically found in the Power Generation, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Oil Gas and Chemical industry sectors. Choose from 5m, 7.5m 12m or 18m as well as a 7.5m model with a smooth-coated insertion - ideal when ease of cleaning or decontamination are priorities.
The many unique features of IPLEX FX are highly relevant to long scope applications, including:
* True portability
For the first time, a long scope doesn't need to be accompanied by a large, bulky system. The battery operated FX weighs less than 8kg even with the longest length scope unit
* LED illumination means no loss of brightness
The innovative SmartTip™ interchangeable LED tip adaptors place the light source at the tip, meaning that all scope lengths have the same level of image brightness
* Interchangeable scope units
A common base unit is able to drive a number of different scope units, allowing a cost effective approach to inspection equipment inventory
* MIL-STD-810F compliance
The enhanced environmental resistance that comes from a MIL-STD compliant product ensures that sand, dust and moisture at the inspection scene are of no concern
