TomoView Analysis

This course familiarizes participant with TomoView software to perform data analysis for the test data acquired using Omniscan or Focus LT equipment. The participants will learn to prepare various data display setup, merging of data, sizing the defects, reporting etc. The participant will be trained using both Phased Array and TOFD test data files.

• Familiarize with Tomoview menus, functions & parameters
• Familiarize with data displays
• Converting data files.
• Creation of display setups (.rst files)
• Creation of weld overlays.
• Reviewing the integrity of data
• Merging of data to analyze the data
• Sizing of defects (length & height) using 6dB drop & maximum amplitude techniques
• Interpretation of defects (type of defect)
• Generating reports using TOMOVIEW
• Comparison between PA and TOFD test data for same test specimen and defect.
• Using TOMOVIEW in acquisition and Inspection mode.

UTPA / TOFD / UT Level II & Level III, Owner representatives, Surveyors, Inspection Engineers, QA/QC engineers and Managers etc.

Certification

Course completion certificate for participants who attain minimum of 80% attendance.

We provide training materials, software, software key, PAUT and TOFD data files, etc. Each candidate will be given files to analyze and report on.
