Las sondas de campo cercano permiten una excelente detección de la corrosión interna, la erosión y el agrietado axial, y devuelven señales de alta calidad basadas en la amplitud, que permiten un análisis de datos rápido y simple. No se necesita ninguna sonda o extensión de referencia. Estas sondas son ideales para la inspección de las aletas de los tubos de acero al carbono.
