The Handheld XRF configured specifically for Industrial Lead-Based-Paint analysis is the DELTA Classic and is referred to as the DC4000LP. The DELTA does not have a HUD PCS; therefore, it is not suitable for HUD LBP applications.

Within seconds, these analyzers can detect lead when and where you need it and report the results as surface area concentrations as well as positive or negative based on preset values. The Analyzers can be programmed with a Fixed Time or Set Action Level End Condition. NIST Standards are available for Portable XRF Lead Paint Surface Analysis. SmartScreenTM provides a fast and accurate method of measuring Pb concentrations in a multilayer coating without the liabilities of radioactive isotopes.

SmartScreenTM provides a fast and accurate method of measuring Pb concentrations in a multilayer coating without the liabilities of radioactive isotopes. The software-based proximity sensor enables easy measurements on uneven surfaces. With no radioactive sources, the analyzer eliminates isotope loss of speed, high replacement costs, and post-9/11 regulatory restrictions.
