Olympus Introduces the IPLEX MX II Industrial Videoscope for entry-level remote visual inspection.

Olympus is pleased to announce the IPLEX MX II industrial videoscope. This entry-level videoscope delivers the same quality and reliability as other Olympus IPLEX models and provides users of every skill level with simple, convenient, and accurate inspections. The compact IPLEX MX II is more than 30% smaller and lighter than the previous MX R model with no sacrifice in durability and reliability. The main features of the IPLEX MX II are its four-layer insertion tube for superior durability, a large 6.5-inch LCD monitor for high-resolution imaging, and its versatile system design and TrueFeel™ articulation mechanism for ease of operation.

The insertion tube features a new four-layer structure that doubles its wear resistance and allows the IPLEX MX II to be used with confidence in harsh inspection environments. The scope tip with the unique Tapered Flex design and graduated flexibility can be curved 120º in four directions for ease of insertion and enhanced viewing.

The IPLEX MX II is equipped with a large 6.5-inch high-resolution LCD monitor that reveals small, easy-to-miss defects clearly and accurately. The monitor features a low-reflection display to produce vivid images both indoors and outdoors. The LED light on the scope tip produces illumination four times brighter than a conventional model, delivering brilliant clarity to deep and dark inspection areas.

The IPLEX MX II provides simple yet accurate operation for users of every experience level. Ease of operation enhanced by a versatile system design and the ergonomic TrueFeel™ controller, which enables power-assisted articulation and precise control of the scope tip. Just a light touch of the joystick moves the scope in any direction.
