Bei den normengerechten Sensoren mit integriertem Vorlaufkeil befinden sich Sensor und Vorlaufkeil im selben Gehäuse. Dies ist die niedrigste Sensor-Vorlaufkeil-Kombination für die Kontaktprüfung mit Winkelprüfkopf. Die Ankoppelung zwischen Sensor- und Vorlaufkeilfläche ist immer gut, kein Koppelmittel ist nötig. Diese Sensoren werden zur manuellen Schweißnahtprüfung an dicken Flächen von 6,35 mm bis 19 mm eingesetzt (Stoßnaht, Eckstoß, T-Stoß), mit gleichzeitigem Einsatz von Winkeln von 40° bis 70°; auch für manuelles Prüfen von Spannungskorrosionsrissen und Anwendungen für die Normen AWS und AVG.
